Go Hawks!!

Call it a good start to the World Cup preparations... The Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. Awesome game and an awesome finals series, Patrick Kane sunk the winner in overtime sending Wrigleyville and the rest of Chicago into crazyness.

The good thing about our new place is after hearing the massive cheer and seeing 6 or 7 helicopters flying around our roof (freaking out the cats) Julia and I made the 30m trek to Clark and join in with the thousands of fans on the street.

Always pleasing to get some acknowledgment of the mullet too by everyone we walked past! :)

Oh how times have changed

Four years later... after the adventures of Young and Free... we are back at the World Cup. A few years older.. a few pounds heavier... yeah and I'm using lb's instead of kg's..

Times have changed.
